Importance of Tajweed

All praises to Allah, Who blessed us with Quran. Quran is speech of Allah (S.W.T) and should be recited as it has been delivered.
Allah says in Quran,

"And recite the Quran (aloud) in a slow, (pleasant tone and) style."
(Surah-e-Muzammil 04)

Instructor of Quran, Hazrat Muhammad (S.A.W.W) pronounced words of Quran with accuracy during recitation, hence Muslims are obliged to follow instructor of Quran in recitation.
Prophet (S.A.W.W) said,

"He who does not recite Quran with correct pronunciation and sweet accent is not among us."

He (S.A.W.W) also said,

"Undoubtedly, Allah (S.W.T) likes that Quran should be recited as it has been revealed."
